Thanks, I think people might find it useful although if anything new is to be learned it might have been found by checking his losers too. Still, its always worth a look as you never know.
Thanks again.

Is Diamond Lover an example of the simple logical approach of your recent revelation? If so I will be very interested if it wins as I can see no possible reason to consider it as a sensible bet.

No, not at all, but there are some points, with both horses, that seem to have been, in the main, overlooked.

Thanks for the reassuring reply. I wouldn't like to think that simple logical points are so far from my perception.

MOM - If BHL had won that race against Door Latch then yes, he would have been the class/form horse for the KG. In fact there were grounds for even a 2nd against Door Latch as being a form performance, but I'll leave that for anyone interested to ponder.

Epiglotis - Murghem does undoubtedly have class, but he wasn't a form horse today VDWs way. The winner however was a form horse relative to todays race.

For me neither McBain nor Mi Odds could be considered inferior to Murghem in this race. So I didn't bet today.

wish I had found it before, as usual only afterwards. I am still trying hard to get it to work, hindsight to forsight that is.

I only put the horse here, not to be clever, but for johnd to judge relative to his list.

I can see where you're coming from with Waterside, though he'd hidden it very well. If we could learn what the J.Hills of this game were up to, we'd all be milionaires, (Ask Delboy!).

Determined.
I remember those letters well, I've probably got them somewhere. I am sure it would be interesting if you posted them up.

Greg - He was not a form horse, pure and simple. Why would anyone think he was in form?

By the way, following on from the KG 85 Chase, anyone who has Clive Holts book "Be A Successful Punter" may like to read his account of the 85 Edward Hamner Chase at Haydock involving Wayward Lad. The result is interesting when placed against Wayward Lads final run before the KG Chase.

Anythoughts on Mccoy starving himself to do
the weight on chicuelo. Is this a case of the
jockey telling us a winner in a race.i realise
other factors have to be weighed but would Mccoy
starve himself to ride his lowest weight for
2 years unless he know the horse has a very good
chance of winning. The stats would suggest to lump
on when Mccoy is riding a low weight.
Guest could you tell us what the Clive Holt books
says for those that don`t have the book

cheers

No, I hadn't,but I have now. Seems that VDW was right all along.
Have a look at the last at Chelt, |Friday. I reckon there's one horse with a serious chance.

Good Luck.
