I backed Akarus last year it was pissing it untill it fell, it was brought to the race fit as a flea for a first time run, taking racemans methods into account I also backed him for the national where he was brought down, I have triple lumped on in the hope that he gets round and finally brings home the bacon he richly deserves, hes a machine.

Ectoo,

much of CVDW's writing has to be approached in a certain way. Few are prepared to enter into sensible discussion, however I am not one of them, I can chat for hours on the basics from which I drew my conclusions.

Ectoo,

It would be prudent to first establish where we are coming from.

Do you Believe CVDW when he states that his methods of evaluation produce 80%-85% winners both flat and jumps?

just answer the question

you make a bold statement but seem unable to back it up.

i like to see the reasoning behind bold statements otherwise i take it as hot air.

ECTOO,

Discussion: An extended communication, often interactive, dealing with some particular topic.

Interrogation: 1)A sentance of inquiry that asks for a reply.2)Formal systematic questioning.

YOU DONT WANT DISCUSSION!

looks like you just make statements based on nothing to me

simple answers to questions isn't difficult..of course you have to have an answer which you don't seem to have.

I'll just ask again,

how would VDW be better at creating betting forecasts than the papers?

not too difficult to answer surely, not asking anything too hard here am i?

Does anyone know if VDW laughed at the newspaper forecasts?

I thought he said to concentrate on the first 5 or 6 runners in them?

LOL,

more hot air?

The first five in the forcast, herenow known as the compilers, provides the winner 83% of the time.

CVDW states his methods produce the winners 80%-85% of the time BFAJ YIYO.

who's the best compiler? Who would be most likely to indentify the winner, FAV, sic.

I suppose for those who have made VDWology into a 'new age' religion, the deity must be all things to all people. The trouble with plastic theology is that it is piss poor philosophy.

Hi Epi

You wrote "Unless VDW theory can explain Parkview Love's run yesterday it fails as a logical system".

If that is your view, then fair enough. All I can say is that if you think Parkview Love's recent form marries up with what Mr. Van der Wheil wrote about consistent form, then I would disagree with you.

It seems to me that you have added the ability rating up and left it at that. Much more to it than that. It does not warrant discussion imo. Sorry.

Pk boy has pointed out an high ability rated horse that had absolutely no chance of winning this race.Don't be fooled by his post. This horse was quoted 9/2 fav in the racing post now vdw would have pissed himself laughing at that. The horse had class (ability) but the form was dire.

Determined.
Silver birch was in form and had an higher ability rating than Chives. They were the only 2 that could win it from my point of view,But imo it was the class form horse that prevailed. Smile
