I think you are asking the wrong person to stop this. Doesn't it all go back to Gummy's posting to 3 Legs telling him no matter what he did it would be all right. That everyone would be happy to live with the stirring in the name of humour and wit. I have to say I haven't seen much of that since his return.

I must admit to being a little surprised the someone as intelligent as JIB has fallen into this. It is obvious by reading Statajack's previous posts, he is not someone that will be intimidated and bullied.

I do feel sorry for most of the contributors to this exellent thread. Gummy is labouring under a misapprehension if he thinks this is the only forum on the net. Or that people will put up with much more of this stirring, that always involves the same person.

You are right to say what you say, obviously.
All this carry on only happens because VDW followers will never concede that the theories are flawed, or give respect to anyone elses ideas, coupled with, the majority have never proved anything any different.
This is a board for all, as you well know.

We all look in.

It isn't right to slag everone off (guilty as charged) but it also is not right to "pretend" that no one elses knowledge is of any value.

If, in the year or so I have been on this board I had seen a string of non-favourite winners, that were damned clever picks we may all think differently, but, it just isn't so is it?

If you or anyone else was sat in his local and someone walked in and said they had studied someones writings for 20 years and therefore could pick superb winners we would all be very impressed when he proved it.

However when the said man never proved anything we would just think he was an idiot.

I, amongst others came on your web site for enjoyment, but have also shown I can pick winners.

I would never, ever, pretend that I could do what can't be done, THAT'S WHAT CAUSES ALL THIS UPSET, the VDW people who can talk a good race but in real life don't really know how it is done atall.
