Not for the first time SJ has misread the situation. Expecting to be slagged off tells it`s own story about the world he lives in as the perceived victim. Perhaps he actually enjoys it, many do!

Thanks very much for putting those passages up regarding the Key race. Somebody on this thread had said previously that The Silver Lining offered nothing new so I haven’t bought it yet. I’ll probably get it now though. Was your tongue ever so slightly in your cheek when you said there was no food for thought there? I’m not sure about the 66% winners dropping in weight though. I’ll have to look at that from different angles when I’ve got more time.

Thanks to you as well for putting those 2 articles on the portal. I can relate somewhat to the VDW one because I’ve been in that position myself, of questioning how much merit there is in the methods, many times. Occasionally I’ve pushed my notes to one side for months at a time, fully intending to leave them there. I’ve always returned to them however. No doubt some may get an image of a moth being attracted to a flame or a lemming leaping off a cliff, but I enjoy trying to solve the puzzles.

One thing I did notice in the article. At the end he says "The method has merit but it’s not what many people think it is." However earlier in the article he says ".....I developed my own version of the method." Perhaps he should have said "my own version of the method didn’t deliver the results I expected, considering the results that VDW suggested his method produced."

I don’t know how to fly an aeroplane but that doesn’t mean it can’t be done.

I expected some slagging off not because I enjoy it but because I expect little else from yourself and JIB. Perhaps JIB is too busy pondering on just which lie he is about to have exposed.
But still, thank you for your offer, at least you have a sense of integrity. However, I have yet to see that JIB is willing to give a similar undertaking despite upping the stakes with his photo (which incidentally proves nothing) so I guess we'll have to wait a little longer....
