did anyone see this today it looked a very nice horse?

cantering the whole way the jock was looking round three out, there was what appeared to be a strong challenge but it quickened to repel said and then eased down again.

looked good to me anyway. I did notice that it had beaten el viejo last year in a bumper and that wasnt too bad, so it might be one to keep an eye on.

No john, I didn't, I took 9-1 with BETFAIR last night.
What price could I have got?

He does not bring into this race anything like the credentials he did last year.

jd the question is what are cross checks? i dont know what they are but i know they must be important cos you guys have mentioned them more than once, i can only ask on behalf of the members.

I am on very sticky ground here but in my opinion.

VDW said there are many ways to reach the same conclusion.ie the winner of the race in question.

In his examples he shows many if not all of them.

Cross checks, in my opinion, are using his methods to identify other horses in the race which bring the neccesary credentials to enable it to win the race today.

As is often mentioned "conflict". There can be two or three or four all in the same race which, using the different methods of evaluation that VDW showed us, which can win.

The different horses identified , when looking for c/f, consistency or whatever, are the cross checks.

IT is impossible to identify these "cross checks" as these are the methods themselves.


There is plenty on here in the last four weeks to keep any VDW fan going for months. If they cant already see why horses are named.
