I am in correspondence with DCS Austin McNally of the Garda Bureau of Fraud Investigation, whose enquiries are on-going. These potential "white collar" frauds do take a long time to investigate, so it is a question of waiting.

The Jockey Club, and Turf Club (Irish equivalent) are aware of the stuation but obviously cannot consider taking action against Mr O'Halloran after the Garda investigate, and any consequent prosecution.

Without in any way knocking Prince Nureyev's chance in the 1.55 Newbury, surely he can't be a "2yo to follow at 3" via the exact methods VDW showed us. He didn't achieve a high enough sf for the method set out in the 10/10/81 article, and as a winner at 2 he is outside the scope of the method shown in chapter 6 of "Systematic Betting".

Barney if you look you will see it is 1 Mile + 1/2 furlong the exact same distance as it won a far superior race at Epsom last year, it has also won twice over 9f on flat tracks so the stiff finish will suit admirably especially on soft.

Determined/Investor - In view of Determineds request, I have listed the class/form horses for the main races today below. However, I think I have given plenty of class/forms in the past for anyone to eventually get the picture. Contrary to what some on here think, class/form evaluation never changes and it doesn't matter if an example is from today or 20 years ago. For that reason I am going to stick to what I said last week. One more evaluation for the Derby next month, then that is it.

Just one point for Bio. In my view VDW would not see Dumaran as a certainty today especially given the presence of Lady Bear, who has shown better form recently than Dumaran and also get's some weight. Best of luck though even if you do appear to be placing all your eggs in one basket, something VDW would have frowned upon for certain. When he said place a proper bet on a selection, it was providing you had sufficient in your tank to cover yourself in the long run.

Domedriver..Was giving 7lb all round Lto going down by a snk,I still feel this horse has an over inflated ability rating if you know what i mean.

I'm not sure wether this horse should be considered out of form ballydoyle threw everyting but the kitchen sink at this horse going down by 2lgs @ 1/2 doesn't look to good but i think that was the run of a tired horse,I think where or when and hawkwing will once again fight it out but i feel W.O.W will have a fitter and stronger horse to contend with today,Having said that It seems to be a week of making books and again i can't see any other option.

Hawk Wing`s trip to the States was one race too many. That run aside, HW is ultra consistent and in the highest class. I thought he would be a super horse last year but it didn`t work out that way.

In my opinion I would ignore his last run thus making him a form horse and having the highest ability rating he is 1st on class/form.

Clearly not a bet though as Where Or When clearly has his measure according to the formbook.

Domedriver`s seasonal debut could be viewed as a downturn but it was surely a prep run for today. `D` like HW is therefore a form horse and 2nd on class/form.

Providing the going remains no worse than good then it is a 3 horse race and they will fight out the finish but in which order I do not know.

A race to watch and savour much like most of the racing today in my opinion.

1.55 Newbury - a facsinating race which will be worth watching very closely. Rocket Ship in my opinion will prove better than a h`capper and he may carry this big weight to victory today but with several unexposed types in the field I will let him run.

BAROLO will be my only bet today ( e/w ).
