I will have to side with yorkies boy, He is guaranteed to carry the weight and he has never won over seven in his life, but he has put in some decent performances though(behind inchdura), the trainer has realised that hes not going to win at the top leval anymore and has run him at seven FOUR times on the bounce to get the mark down(and he has). He also has some excellent performances on the soft sudden blip every time he gets his ground.

sounds like Im talking myself into it so I will leave it.

Ryders Storm had to be really shoved along to win his latest race at Fontwell, and it didn't look much of a race. Galant Eye was about 4l third and looks exposed. Gabor looks a bit better class on evidence to date, might be some value if punters lay into AP's mount. The rest of the field look exposed as not good enough, or unlikely to make a mark on their debut.

Kadarann won this on his debut a couple of seasons ago, but there looks nothing of that class to oppose Gabor.

re Gabor

Betfair still includes it as a runner, Archer For four(No.3) is given as a non-runner

2.30 Cheltenham 3yo Novice hurdle (class 68 - but ignore that in future!)

This turned out to be a pretty poor race. Almnadia won well enough, but he filed in a Hereford seller last time! Ryders Storm collapsed in a heap and possibly has mental or physical problem. Gabor threw away his chance early, losing lengths at each of the early flights, Hide tucked him in after that but he didn't have enough left. Possibly better on a right handed track, but I think his hurdling needs sorting out. As the season progressing I think newcomers will leave this lot standing. I think this an instance where the class value of 68 will be an over-estimation of the ability of the winner.

at least we got the out of former right.

The winner beat an in form class 50 rival with ease, That must be worth something?

Gabor - Trainer reckons he didn't get home on this stiff track. The way he went out like a light supports it.

Aldora
This horse ran an absolute blinder on the wrong side of the track ( 12l+ clear of the others ), and now they know it stays a mile, it looks a ready made winner in the next 2 weeks.

Definite Guest 4.00 Y is a very interesting horse tomorrow. Read his form carefully, and I'm sure you'll see what I mean.

Swish
I would appreciate your thoughts on the above, if your taking an interest in this race.

Thanks,
Johnd.

I have looked at this, well spotted, a beautiful steady growth of the horse.I have not considered this trainer previously but he does it how I like it, so I will now.

Thanks and good luck to you.

I really think the trainer is wrong about the reason for this one's defeat. I watched the race on ATR and I reckon he lost because he hurdled poorly early in the race losing many lengths. I don't think the stiff track was the reason.
