Perhaps like that other mathematical genius VDW was captured by the Americans?
Still it is reassuring to read that not g hall is already well on his way to his first million using these unfathomable formulae backing and winning willy-nilly throughout the past week! Perhaps he will soon be able to stump up enough to become a full member? (£20?)
    Well Done!

maybe "Ratings" have got better since VDWs days !_

I have been looking at _ Top 5/6 in the betting (in Handicaps) together with Massey's top "Max" rated horses ! - and selecting the top 3 - rather than the " 3 most consistent" !!

Found the winner of the 3.00 Ascot + a few other today !!!"

Tt as a friend, I must warn you that you should be very wary of posts like that on this overly sensative forum in the repect of post race claims of winners and race analysis.

Pull your pants up and run along.

TC I hope you remeber this POST when your holier than thou "moment" rears its ugly and disrespectfull head.

Tuppenycat.

Many thanks for your warm welcome.

If you actually read my previous posting and took everything into
context
, you would realise that there are no "post race" claims. I doubt very much if I will be making constructive postings, now or in the foreseeable future. My reasons for this decision, well we only have to look at some of the previous postings on this forum!!!! Wink Smile

I think that most of us are already aware that vdw was a successful businessman. As for getting flack, too chilled for that kind of crap, lol.

JIB.

If and when "I" decide to become a paid member of the Gummy forum, it will be on my own terms, providing I am accepted, and when "I choose".

What is "norm", working 9-5, Sunday roast every week, Santa arriving at the same time every year. None of these things are me, so I am not the "norm".
----------------------------------------------
Who do you vote for when the times comes, me I vote for Santa he always has the goods. Smile

13 VDW winners from 26 races

8 races won by a horse not in the 1st 5 in the betting

It should be noted that Chester was an absolute "Bog" and Sandown was not much better !

JIB will be able to correct me - but I think that "Pivotal" had a "Field Day" ??

Glad you brought that up -

When the time comes to analize the results of these races - I shall be subjecting the Massey ratings to the same sort of scrutiny as the VDW Consistency ratings.

    not g hall,
As long as you regularly keep us posted with your successes, I am sure no one will mind if you keep your £20 in your pocket (if indeed you have it, the money that is, rather than the pocket).
You will probably find that your lists of winners have the added bonus of being both cathartic for your imagination and a jolly good laugh for the rest of us.

If you "choose" to stick around - I think you will find that a good number of contributors on here are far from "norm" in their life style - hence their propensity to question "dogma" !

I cannot fail to chuckle at the last two postings. Smile

TC.

Your postings on consistent winners and losers (yes, it is spelt losers) are good work by the way.

not g hall
As you will not be making any constructive postings, will avail us of your expertise after the race, and will also teach us all how to spell, may I suggest you change your nom de plume to f*** hall, as that will adequately summarise your contribution to this thread.

As I will not be making anything worthwhile to "this" particaular thread, I see no point in changing my username to the one you have suggested. However, you may use it if you wish after all, it will be more suited to yourself. Smile

JIB.
"Bacon's not the only thing cured by hanging from a string." I am certain that the only thing that will cure you of posting such drivel, would be to find what you are still seeking!!! Wink
