So allied to the consistency method (figs) is there another method using the horses finishing positions in last 3 races compared to positions in b/f/c as if to confirm the original findings?.

3 Legs - Something we agree on then. No doubt Fallon is at the top of his profession just as is Murtagh, Kinane, Holland, McCoy , Walsh,etc, but I don't think they make as much difference to a horse's chance as people think.

I heard the French "expert" on TV suggest that had Fallon ridden any of the 1st 3 home in the Derby, he would have won on them also! I don't know why they don't just do away with the 4 legged creatures and let the jockeys run round.

There are lots of methods Walter. Both guest and investor are continually telling us this. The key is you must pick the right method. They both do it often enough. The only problem is that if they try and do it before the race they get it wrong. Strange that!!

I backed Old Blue Eyes lto, even though he wasn't obviously in form, on the strength
of his 2yo placings aginst decnt horses
(Captain Rio & Acclamation)

He ran well in the Kempton race and the 1st two home that day have gone on to run ok in the 29k race at Epsom on Saturday.

Should be a good price tomorrow and looks worth a bet.

The obvious danger is the f/cast fav, but he is a come from behind horse who looks to need all of the 6f and may be better suited by 7f.

There`s not much (well, anything really) that I could tell you about horse racing. But for heavens sake don`t believe a word the French tell you about anything. Or before you know where we are you`ll be putting a euro on e/w rather than 2/6d.

Don't do it,There really was too much happening in that race there were 5 horses in with a chance,I put 4 of them up earlier but missed the winner but we all make mistakes,I wouldn't have backed it but i missed the form.
