Fri, Sept 3.

Yet again I cannot see my idea of a pure VDW selection this morning, but here's my attempt to get near:

420 Haydock

Mr Tambourine Man
Ocean Avenue
Desert Island Disc

Not very precise and certainly not my cup of tea.

Over to the experts, but may I just say that
JIB's selection, Sahaat, in the F4 Chepstow claimer, would be more like a bet to my taste.
EW, of course.

Aaagh!

The race I suggested may not qualify!

it appears to be less than the old C class.

Oh well, I thought it was the most expensive of the day, so it may be OK as a guinea pig for analysis.

yes I have wonderd that - so I am continuing for another 400 races - as I said , I won't be posting up the daily results - it is very time consuming - but the records are being kept in exactly the same manner - and the final anaysis will follow the same lines of this one .

Have you any opinions regarding the Class breakdowns on page 697 - I think they show some interesting trends !!!

Just thought I'd bring this up again to remind the author of his delicate sensitivities. Smile

I had hoped that Le Petomane had been more popular. Obviously the world is becoming less vulgar.

maybe the problem with the first 5 in the betting thing,is that the odds complilers are only human and make mistakes, surely 14-1 mctavish in the 1-35 is one of them?

    Slow Learner
Investor, your teacher must have had the patience of a saint. it wasnt me who alleged my selections were 'pisstakes' it was your (ex?)-companion 'the van man' from the other (morgue) thread who claimed that I had no other intention in contributing other than as a spoiler.
If you have access to the rest of the forum the Donkey Register list is explained, if not unfortunately it must remain a mystery to you.
